About:Hong Kong - Zhongshan Ferry

Visa entry Zhuhai when arriving from Beijing ?

On 12 November I will arrive at 12.30 with a China Southern AIrlines flight CZ310 from Beijing-Capital to Hong Kong IAP. I will not pass HK customs but will use the SkyPier ferry to ZH city.

I have already a visa entry for China, because I arrived from Beijing. Can I use this same entry for ZH? Or when I leave Beijing with a flight to Hong Kong, Chinese customs at Beijing will think I will leave China. So I need a new entry when I enter ZH ?

I hope you can help me with my question.

Hans

May I know whether u will just transit in Beijing or plan to have a visit there? If only for transit within 24 hours, visa is not required. If your short visit in Beijing is within 72h and your departing place is an international one, you are qualified for the 72h visa free policy. So apply for one upon your arriving and save the single entry. Then you can use it on your entry from HKIA to ZH.

But if you will have a holiday in Beijing for more than 72h and have to use the single entry, why not fly from Beijing to ZH directly? Then no another entry on your visa is needed.

Well then, if possible, avoid flying to HK. After visiting Beijing, take a direct plane to ZH. Then a single entry on your visa is enough. If you have to fly to HK, I'm afraid you have no choice but to try to apply for double entry in advance.
