About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Stay for one day by taking cruise, can I enjoy the 72-hour free transit?

Hi The princess cruse ship will dock in Shanghai for 1 Day in may 2015, We will be sight seeing & shopping that day,Will we qualify for the 72 hour Visa Free Transit ? Cheers

You are not qualified for the 72-hour free transit policy, but you may enjoy the 24-hour free transit if your transfering time is less than 24 hours.
If you stay in Shanghai for less than 24 hours, you can just apply for a stay permit at the Port to leave the Port.
