Do I need a visa travel internally in China

I hold two passports(dual nationality) ,Only one of the passports has my Z visa,the one with the Z visa will be stuck with Customs clearance guys for a few days but during this time I want to travel around China.Can I take a copy of the passport with the visa and travel on internal airlines in China with the passport without the visa?

Is your Work Z for working in China?
If so, you can only use the passport having working Z to travel aroun China. You may get a slip or receipt from the custom, since your passport was there? If so, the slip or receipt can be used for your traveling in China. No copy of your passport or so is needed.
