About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

Can I apply tourist visa from Hong Kong.

I am a Canadian citizen who was born in Hong Kong and I plan to travel to Hong Kong first and then join the local tours to visit China (since Hong Kong offer a lot more tours to see China). Can I apply for a tourist L in Hing kong once I have booked the tours to China?
If I can't do it, what do you recommend as to how I can get a tourist L under this circumstance.

You can try to apply for a Tourist L in HK, because I saw many people have obtained before. I heard some big tour companies can help their visitors to get Tourist L. You are suggested to consult the tour company about this issue when you book the tour.

For Canadaian Citizen ,Yes,You can obtaion Tourist L from hk ,for short time such as one month or 2 months type in hk.
If want to live for long time such as one year type,can do in china.
