About:Visiting Chinese Family

Teacher visiting China in a few weeks for Region's Student Xchange program

So bare with me. I am a HS History teacher who was voluntold to represent the region of schools I work in/for as the Liason officer with this Chinese District/province of schools that supposedly will send exchange students to America and several schools in our Spring season. One of the schools I am to visit and teach a class at (kind of fu right?) is over 600 yrs old. So what kind of gift should I offer my hosts and my personal guide/security, and perhaps that school? Maybe a yearbook of

Personally speaking, some local original famous books can be used as the gifts, since you will visit a school.

For the host and the guide, you can prepare them some local famous specialities, etc.
