we have a group of 8 persons going to hong kong, shenzhen & macau in nov 2014.

Question

From airport, can we take free airport shuttle bus to Dorsett Mongkok? Which location is the shuttle bus? We will be in HK for 2 nights and then proceed to Shenzhen.  If we get Octopus pass, can it be use to pay for train going to Shenzhen in Hung Hom station or only applicable for MTR.Thank you.Regards - Ms Mary Tan

No free shuttle bus can directly take you from HKIA to your hotel. Then you are advised to take Airport Express train to Kowloon station, There you can find the free shuttle buses operated by your hotel. The boarding site is at the driveway entrance of G/F AE level. Of couse the regular Octopus Card can also be used on East Rail line from Hung Hom to Shenzhen. It is also one of the MTR lines in HK.
