visa for an american citizen in sri lanka

Dear Sirs,is it possible to obtain it for travelling to China for an American Citizen that currently is in Sri Lanka (for holidays) and would like to directly go to Shanghai?Thank you!Tanja (tanja.hasler@tronical.com)

You can try to apply it in Sri Lanka with your valid passport, application form with recent taken photo, your proof of legal status in Sri Lanka, hotel booking in China and round flight tickets to China. Besides, you are suggested to consulate the embassy for asking whether they have other special requirements for preparing.
