what visas do we need

london to hong kong via beijing (not leaving airport ) then train from hong kong to beijing staying 9 daysthen tokyo to london via beijing again ( not leaving airport )do we only need single entry type for 9 day stay as we are only transfering on other entries

How long is your first transfering in Beijing airport?If it is just a short time, a single entry is OK personally speaking. If you want to stay for a long time, you are suggested to apply for a double entry one. If you only have a single entry, it may be used by the custom when you first reach Beijing.
