i'd really appreciate your advice on a few questions regarding my 1st trip to china...

Question

I hope to fly to China's Guangzhou airport to meet my Chinese wife-to-be. It is our intention to stay a few days in Guangzhou and then travel to the city of Guilin where she currently works.After a few days we intend to travel to Shenyang where her family lives and get married there.I am not a Danish national but I am a UK citizen with full and valid residency in Denmark and I understand I would have to pay dkk 250 for a Single-Entry with 3-month Validity visa plus dkk 275 Application Service Fees.As I have never been to China before, could you please inform me if I just need to apply for a tourist L, or do I also need a Letter of Invitation from my future wife.I know I have to have a verified/certified Single Status declaration with me.Do I need permits or anything else so I can travel from Guangzhou to Guilin to Shenyang, (and back again, of course)?Thanks in advance for your time and help. Hi, Steve.You need to apply for a Tourist L for your visiting to China. If your wife-to-be can issue you an invitation letter, that is better. You can just use your valid passport, an application form with a recent taken photo and the invitation letter for your application. For your marriage in China, the authenticated Single Status is needed. No other permits or anything else are needed once you get a Tourist L when traveling from Guangzhou - Guilin - Shenyang.
