About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

do I need a visa or can I use 72 h transit?

I arrive in hong kong jan 10 at 4:05 pm leave jan 12 at 5pm. If I need a visit can it be obtained at the airport and for what cost. Thank you

Marion, 72 hours free transit is only for certain airports in mainland China. By the way, US citizens enjoy visa-free policy in HK. If you just stay in HK, you needn't apply any type in advance.
