What are the various ways from Shanghai to Hong Kong & back in about 3 days, I am on a budget.

When are u going to travel? During slack season, there are great discounts about air ticket fare. Then I suggest u fly to Guangzhou first. Then go to Guangzhou East Railway Station to take a train to Hung Hom, HK. For the back jouney, you can consider taking an overnight through train to SH directly.1

Oh, it is during peak season and the air ticket fare is a little higher than usual. If you don't care about the long trip on train, use train instead to save some money. And I do recommend you to book the train tickets in advance.1
