Extension VISA in Shanghai

My question is: I've got a Chinese one with the duration of 10 days after entry, the matter is that I'll stay in Shanghai for 18 days. What Should I do? Should I ask for an extension as soon as I arrive there? Is there an Exit-Entry administration Bureau at Pu Dong airport?

Thanks for helping me.

You need to extend your current one and you can extend it 7 days before your current one expires. There is no Exit-Entry Adminstration Bureau in the Pudong airport, but there are several windows in the city proper. Do you want to find one in Pudong district or somewhere else?

For extension, your valid passport, application form with recent taken photo, Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors and some documents to prove that you are necessary to get an extension (this document is based on your applying type).
