Visa from japan as a foreigner

Hi,
I am an Indonesian who is currently studying in Beppu and wanting to apply multiple entry type to china (2 entries). Can I just come to the consulate in Fukuoka or should I go else where. I am planning to leave Fukuoka to China on the 2nd October 2014 and return back to Fukuoka on the 6th October 2014. What should I do?

You have got a resident permit in Japan?
If so, you need to apply through a local tour agency and you may need to consult the agency for detail information.

hi, currently i am not in japan as of yet, but when i do arrive i will obtain my residents card from the immigration the day i arrive. So do I still need to go through tour agency for help or can do it myself in fukuoka embassy?

It is suggested to apply through tour agency since you live there for a long time for studying.
