Is it bad to go to the Beijing Zoo while it is raining? Will the animals still be out?

Will the Zoo be open on Sept 11, 2014? What are the hours of operation and the costs? I would like to go to the Zoo, Panda exhibit and the Aquarium. Is the aquarium worth the money?

Yes, it will open on Sep. 11, when there will be heavy rain. During raining days, most animals are indoors and only a small part of animals are out like leopard and black bear. It will operate from 07:30 to 18:00.

As per my experience, the aquarium is worth your money and there are shows every day. But generally, to see more in the zoo, I suggest you go on a sunny day.
