About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

If I want to go to Samatai to visit the Great Wall during my 72 hours, does this violate the policy?

I have a Beijing Bucket list, and this is on it. Is that considered travel to another city?

Visiting Simatai is not regarded as traveling to another city, so you can go there during your 72 hours.
