About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I still need a visa due to the HK - Shanghai - HK flight?

I fly from New Zealand to Shanghai via Hong Kong (change flight in Hong Kong for Shanghai without going out of the airport). After visiting Shanghai for 2 days, I fly to Hong Kong.

Since you will fly to Shanghai from HK and then back to HK, you cannot enjoy the 72-hour free transit policy. For your situation, you need to apply for a Transit G for transfering.
