About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Fly into Pudong / out of Hongqiao, ok to enjoy the 72-hour policy?

I have read that you need to fly into and out of the same airport on the 72 hour policy.

Is it possible to fly into Pudong and out of Hongqiao?

It is possbile to fly into Pudong and out of Hongqiao. This is a exception in Shanghai and for other cities, you must use the same airport
