About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Polish Passport and want to enjoy the 72-hour policy, OK?

Will be going from tokyo to hong kong round trip, with a stop over of 68 hours in Shangai Pudong, I am covered by the 72 hour transit permit?? or do I ned to get a visa at a chinese consulate before leaving?? I have a polish passport

You mean your trip is Tokyo - Shanghai (68 hours) - Hong Kong?
If so, you can enjoy the 72-hour free transit. You do not need to apply one in advance before leaving. You just need to apply for a stay permit stamp to leave the airport. BTW, you need to tell the airline that you want to enjoy the 72-hour policy.
