About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I enjoy the 72-hour free transit if I Travel by TRAIN

I plan to go to Guangzhou by train from HK, does it work like that or I have to travel via airplane to certain airports?

The 72-hour transit policy does is only possible for passengers who travel via planes to certain airports, so you cannot enjoy this policy if travel by train.
