Is the western section of the simatai wall still closed?

Ana, the western section is connected to Jinshanling section. According to what I find, it's impossible to hike from Simatai to Jinshanling. Previously, some brave people did hiking. However, it's said that there are guards now. They don't let people hike from Simatai to Jinshanling because it's too dangerous.0
