About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

separate tickets for enjoying the 72-hour free transit

I am currently in China and flying home to Europe on September 4th. I have now a business opportunity in Jakarta. Can I fly to Jakarta, return to Beijing on the 3rd or 4th and use my existing ticket to fly onward to Europe? Can you use the 72-hour free transit policy with two separate tickets?

You can do that. It does not matter that you have two seperate tickets. If your ticket to Europe has a confirmed seat, it can be used to enjoy the 72-hour free transit.
