About:Mount Huashan

From Westin hotel to mt.huashan

hi there,
I'm staying at the Westin hotel (near the square of the wild goose pagoda)
What is the recommended route I should take to reach the mountain and back?
(and what is the recommended route on the mountain if I have only one off day to see everything and get back?
I have the choice between Friday and Sunday)

You can take a taxi from your hotel to the Railway Station, about 7km far. At the east square of the station, there are tour buses to get you to the scenic area directly.

As for the route on the mountain, if you are pressed for time, you can take the cable car to the north peak, and then travel following the route: north peak – east peak – south peak – west peak. At last, you can take the cable car down and take the tour bus back to downtown area.

Friday is better, because it may be crowded on Sunday there.
