We will be in macau 1st week of january 2015, is it safe to travel going to hongkong thru ferry?

My friend should be there coming from hongkong but ferryboat was cancelled due to bad weather because of too foggy and zero visibilty last february 2013. Thank you

Personally speaking, it’s safe to take the ferry. The ship will not depart if the weather is bad. So you’d better pay close attention before you set off.
