About:China Embassy in Thailand

Can An American Apply For a Chinese Visa In Thailand?

To whom it may concern,

I am an American citizen that is currently undergoing a business plan for a future company in China and have been on a Business Type that was issued in Sydney, Australia for the past year. The expiration date is almost here and I would like to know if it is possible to apply for another one in Thailand. Am I able to apply for any without an issue? Or are there restrictions that would prevent me from applying in Thailand?

Thank you very much in advance, I greatly appreciate your time and look forward to your response.

Sincerely,
Xorge E. Alanis

It is possible to apply in Thailand and you need to go to the local embassy to apply.
For application, besides the basic documents, you still need to provide your proof of legal status in Thailand to apply.

Hello Bruce,

Thank you for your reply, however, I would like to mention that I am not residing in Thailand. I am currently in China and plan to travel to Thailand to apply for the business type for China. Will this cause any problems in the application process?

Thank you for your help and look forward to your reply.

Sincerely,

It may not cause problems for you in the application process and I heard many people did so in the past. There is no limitation on the nationalities according to the rules. You can have a try.
