About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Applying for a tourist visa within China

i am currently on a work Z which will expire end of September. I have stopped my employment in China but would like to apply for a tourist L preferably avoiding having to go to Hong Kong. Would it be possible to have one issued at the entry and exit administration bureau?

You may need to go to the local Exit-Entry Adminstration Bureau for consulting directly. As I know, few people can get a L type within China unless they ask some agency for applying.
