About:Mount Wutai

Pingyao-Taihuai

Arriving by train from Pingyao to Wutaishan in the early morning (around 5AM), how can I trachea Taihuai? And can I come back to Taiyuan in the same day?

You are recommended to take a taxi or rent a car from the train station to Taihuai town. They may charge you around CNY150.

There are direct buses from Taihuai to Taiyuan every day and they are scheduled from 06:00 to 16:00 every an hour. So whether you can go back depends on your timing!

Why train? Take the new high way from Beijing will only cost you 4 hours one way. And the road condition is excellence!
