About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Residence permit,anyone can help me?

Hello, I am a student in China, having temporary residence permit, that is valid until 15th September. I have to renew it soon, so I am planning to do all the medical examination and issues in the first days of September, right after my arrival. I do not know usually how long does it take this procedure (not the doctor and so on. those are depending on me). the rest. My question is, that should I ask for a L type in case that I will not have enough time? or if I leave my papers in the Bureau for example on the 10th of September, it does not matter anymore till how long does my current residence permit is valid? Klaudia, it takes 15 days to deal with your extension application. So I think you should apply for your extension as early as you can. Taking your medical examination into consideration, I think you should spare 20 to 30 days to do this. Usually, foreigners apply for the residence permit extension a month ago before its expiration.
