About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

hong kong~beijing~ canada, can i use the transit permit?

hi, i am landing in beijing from hong kong in aug 23 at 7pm and i leave to canda Aug 26 at 1. and will the fact that i overstayed on my last visa affect me

Angel, you meet the requirement for 72 hours free transit. How long did you overstay? Was you just fined? If you didn't overstay too long, I think you still have a chance to get the 72 hours free transit.

I overstayed by 20 days but i went to them and paid the fine and they cancelled my old visa and i got a temp one to exit ~ will i be okay?
