About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

USA - Hong Kong - Beijing - Thailand

Hello,

I have a flight from USA to Honk Kong (transfer 2 hours) to Beijing (stay 5 days) to Thailand. Am I eligible for visa free transit since the first time I arrive in mainland China is in Beijing and I am leaving directly from there 5 days later?
