About:China Visa Fees

overstayed then reapplying

Hi, I'm canadian, and I overstayed on a L type in July 2014 - I mistook my expiry date as my exit date. When I realised I went to the bureau and sorted it out and paid the fine, and applied for exit visa to leave so go to other parts of Asia

now Aug 2014 I want to go to Hong Kong to get a new one to re enter as my flight back to Canada is from Beijing, will I be denied due to my past over staying?

Angel, it's possible that you will be dennied because you overstayed. However, I think you may make use of 72 hours free transit in Beijing to fly back to Canada.
