Hello sir, Am David from Hebei Medical University. I have my child passport now . By October I will become an adult. But unfortunately, I have to arrive china before October. However my password period is going to be over. So I want to renew my passport after arriving china. The question is :1. can I renew my passport in china2. If possible where I should renew3. How much time it takes to get my renewed passport back 4. Can I return to my city to continue my study till I get my renewed passport.5. And finally, what all the documents needed to renew my passport and how much it will cost.

It can be renewed in China, but according to the rules, you may need to renew it at least two monthes before it expires. So for this issue, you are suggested to consult certain goverments in you country. Time may not be not suitable if you apply in China. Since you are in Hebei Province, it is suggested to go to the Indian Embassy in China in Beijing to renew it. For the processing time, it is not clear for me. Generally speaking, for renewing in China, you need to prepare an application form, your current passport, four recent photos, photocopies of the first page, last page and the valid  Resident Permit/Visa page.
