About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Visa renewal

I have a 10-year China Visa that will expire in December 2025. How soon can I apply for a renewal? I would rather do it well ahead of time rather than the last-minute :)

Sorry, another question - I just read about a 3-year extension http://us.china-embassy.gov.cn/eng/lsfw/zj/qz2021/202306/t20230623_11102539.htm - can I apply for this extension instead of renewing my 10-year Visa? If so, how is this done?

Yes, of course. You can apply for the 3-year compensated visas in accordance with normal visa procedures and document requirements.
