S1 is considered to apply from your country and it is almost impossible to get a land visa for you in China. You need to prepare your valid passport, application form with recent taken photo, an invitation letter from your wife, your marriage certificate and your flight tickets for applying S1 in your country. You need to the Chinese embassy in your country for applying in person.
