Want to watch the rowing competitions at the YOG in Nanjing at Xuanwu Lake, 17/8 to 20/8

What is the best way to get there? I live in Fraser Suites near the Olympic Stadium, next to Olympic Station East, Metro Line 2. Can i get tickets for the competition directly at the venue, at Xuanwu Lake? Or is the entrance free for visitors. Where can I buy a ticket for the opening ceremony ?

Yes, the rowing competition will be held at Xuanwu Lake, NJ Rowing-Canoeing School from Aug. 17 to 21. You can take the subway line 2 and get off at the Xianmen Station. Then take a taxi to the School, about 2.5km. The venue for rowing is free for visitors. As for the tickets for the opening ceremony, you can buy the tickets at the Ticketing Service Center at the Stadium or through their official website to purchase.

Thank you. My Metro Map says XUANWUMEN, which is the same I think. I can probably also try to walk the 2,5km down to the grandstands.
