About:Telephone & Cellphone in China

Connections for Hong Kong and China

I'll be in Hongkong for 3 days and then in China for 10 days from 19 th Aug. I have a connection from Indian mobile IDEA on GSM. What is the cheapest way to connect within HK and China and also make calls to India?

Tony, the easiest way is to buy local sim cards when you are in HK and mainland China. In HK, you can buy prepaid sim cards. When you arrive in mainland China, you can buy sim card from China Mobile because your phone supports GSM mode.
