About:How to Buy Tickets

Issues... I have a Chinese Bank Card but no ID number... just a passport number

I'm trying to book a ticket for my friend to visit me, but I can never order a ticket online because there is a mandatory section where it asks for an ID number which I clearly don't have because I'm not Chinese, yet, it required that the section NOT be blank. I've tried everything and it seems impossible to sort this problem. Any suggestions?

If you are booking a ticket for your friend, you should provide your friend's passport number and name, but not your personal information.

An ID number can also be the passport number.

That's not what I mean.... In order to pay for their ticket, it asks for my ID number because I have a Chinese bank card and bank account

i don't understand, according to my experience, no Chinese ID number is required when paying for the ticket. Does your bank account support online payment? Which bank does your bank card belong to?
