About:China Work Visa

Visa paperwork

I have been hired by an international school in Shenzhen to teach second grade. My paperwork for my visa has arrived but it states that it is for 000 work days and only 3 months single entry. The school told me that I need to apply for expert certification and a residence permit once I am in China. I need a work type until July of next year and don't want to get stuck with only three months, so I want to verify that this is the correct paperwork.

You have got your Z type for working, right
If so, please do not worry.

Here is a general procedure after entering China:
With the Z type you got, you need to apply for a expert certificate and a residence permit at local PSB 30 days within you enter China. Then you can stay in China till your residence permit expires.

"000" was print at the duration of stay, right? It is correct. Since you need to apply for a residence permit in China, so it is not needed to tell you the duration of stay on the Z. The duration of stay will be printed on your residence permit. For the 3 monthes single entry, the 3 monthes is the valid for the Z type itself and it means that you only needs to enter China within 3 monthes before your Z expires.

Hope this time, it is clear for you. If you are still unclear about other information, please feel free to ask me ~
