I have the exact same question, is there a good way to check the schedule on line? I'm also looking to go to KaiPing and just want to make sure the schedule hasn't changed...0

I just checked the bus schedule to Kaiping at the official website of Gongbei Bus Station (it only has Chinese edition). Buses are scheduled from 07:30 to 20:30 every 20-30min. The bus fare is CNY75 per person. It would be fine to get a ticket on the spot.0
