international transfer information in Beijing Capital airport

hi, we will travel los angeles-bangkok, witha a stopover in BJ for 2.35hours, i know is enough time to make transfer.. we will travel for air china, but may i check my luggage direct to bangkok?, or have i to pick up at bj, and check again?
