i work in china with z-visa, can i get s1 type for my wife?

Hello guys, I'm on Z type and have been in China for the past two yrs. I want to know whether i Can i apply S1 for my wife cuz i want her to join me for a long stay. I don't need S2 cuz it just 180 days. Thanks.

The application of S1 is possible, but you may need to ask your wife to apply in her country instead of in China. For applying, you need to provide her an invitation letter, photocopy of your resident permit & your passport. Then she can use these documents together with her valid passport and application form with recent taken photo and your marriage certificate to apply on herself.
