I work in China with Z-visa, can i get S1 type for my wife?

The application of S1 is possible, but you may need to ask your wife to apply in her country instead of in China.

For applying, you need to provide her an invitation letter, photocopy of your resident permit & your passport. Then she can use these documents together with her valid passport and application form with recent taken photo and your marriage certificate to apply on herself.
