About:China Visa Application in UK

Visa application address in New Zealand

I am a British citizen resident of New Zealand. I plan travel to China from New Zealand, for 2 weeks late September 2014, traveling on British passport.

You mean you hold UK's passport?
If so, you need to go the local Chinese embassy in Wellington for application and the address is at 4 Halswell Street, Thorndon, Wellington.
