Holiday visit to Zhu Hai for 2 days

Hello, I am from Indonesia. Me and my family are planning a trip to Zhu hai for 2 days departed from Hong Kong. I have Issued a china visa before few years ago and i"m still have the expired passport with me now. Can I show that as proof, in order to get the VOA?
