can a filipino passport holder get china visa in bangkok?

Hello there!

I'm planning to travel in Guangdong, China to visit my chinese friends probabaly on April next year. I am currently working in Thailand this time with working permit. Would anybody here can tell me what should I do to get a two weeks vacation? If ever i would stay in my friends' place, do I still need to have a hotel reservation? What are the things i need to prepare?
