French nationality eligible for the 5 day visa for shenzhen at the border ?

Hello i'm french and i wanted to know if i could directly apply for the chinese one at the border at Lo Wu station. I saw that there were maybe exceptions but it wasn't clear for me. Thanks for your time ! :))
