About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Travel to China from Korea

Hello, I am an American with an ARC card that expires in November. I would like to visit China with a visitor visa but am unsure if I am able to obtain one because of my ARC card's expiration date. I would like to visit China before returning to the States if at all possible. Thanks.

If you do not have at least 6 monthes' valid, you may easily get rejected.

In order to confirm, you are suggested to contact the CVASC in Seoul for more detail information. Or you can try to do it through some local tour agency and maybe you can get your tourist one in the end.

If I lived in China for 7 years prior to coming to Korea, would that make any difference? I suppose I should just go to the embassy directly and ask them about it in person. Thanks.
