I am a tiger, my son a dog, his father a dragon.

As i said in the intro I'm a tiger mother of an 8 yo dog, and his father is a dragon. I have heard that the lovely dog is a very compatible match with a tiger. And this seems true because we have a wonderful relationship. His father is a dragon and although we love each other dearly, we can't seem to make it work living under the same roof. We spend lots of time together. We come and go freely at each other's houses. Is there any advice you could give us to make it work? We both want it but just can't seem to get it together.
