Do I qualify for the 72 hour VISA in China?

Hi!

I was thinking about get out of the airport and go see the city but I'm a little afraid to be stopped, especially since I'm gonna be by myself.
Do I qualify for the 72 hour free transit in China?

Any advice?

Thanks a lot :)

Please do not worry. Your routes are qualified for the 72-hour free transit, so you can get out of the Pudong airport easily. You just need to the72-hour free transit counter in the airport to get a stamp on your passport (stay permit) with your passport and your tickets to Australia. Then you can get out of the airport.

Since you have around 13 hours, you can choose to visit the Bund area, the Yuyuan Garden area. Then if you still have time, you can visit the Xintiandi area.

BTW, you need to tell your airline company that you want to enjoy the 72-hour policy, so that you can get the stay permit at the airport.

Anyway, enjoy your trip ~

Thanks a lot, I made up some plans to spend the day and your advices confirm my choices :)

Can I ask my airport company when I check-in or is it better if I call them before the flight?
