About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Norwegian with transfer at the AirPort in Beijing.

Hi, how does the 24 hour transit visa at the Beijing airport work? We are a 7 persons from Norway who is going to land at the Beijing airport , coming from Seoul, we then have to check in our luggage again before our flight to Europe leaves 4 hours later. Could we run into some problems or do we manage with the 24 hours transit one?

I think you may mean the 24-hour free transit policy, right?
If so, it means that making international transfering in China within 24 hours, no visa is needed during your transfering. If you want to get out of he airport, you can just apply for a stay permit to go out.

If you travel like Seoul - Beijing - Europe and stay in the airport for no more than 24 hours, you can enjoy the free transit easily with your passport and onwards flight tickets.
