visa application for a longer stay

i would like to ask if i can apply for S type even if the person im going to visit is my boyfriend is a foreigner from the us. Ive been to china twice using the L type but this time i would like to stay longer for maybe at least 90 maximum days can i ask if what kind can i apply.. thank God bless hope to hear from you

I still have a L type on my passport i applied double entry i only used it once but i would liketo go back to china and visit my boyfriend and stay there for atleast 90 days but the L type is only 30 days i would like to ask if i have to apply a new one and what type would it be thanks
