Staying in Florida. Have Indian Passport...what would be the process?

I am staying currently in Florida, US. Having Indian passport. And per the existing process it seems I have to come down to Houston office to get my visa done. The thing is the whole process takes around 4 days and I dont want to stay that long in Houston, so it that possible that Consulate can send my passport and paper work back to my address in Florida?

The Consulate do not provide the mailing service. If you cannot pick, you can ask a person you know to pick up for you as your representative.
